How To Build A Personal Brand
At this point you are probably overwhelmed and wondering where the hell you start...
Find Your 3 Words Or Phases You Can Use To Describe Yourself
hat means the 3 words that you can say quickly to define yourself, what you do and what you know. Overtime these words will change and if they do don't feel bad the evolution of you as a person and the pivots in your business are good things!
The main thing is that your personal brand exemplifies what you're interested in and all the important stuff that makes you who you are!
The best way to think about it is explaining exactly who you are and why that information would be important to somebody else. Then go in and give your audience a sneak peek or tidbit into your life, something that they would find interesting or could connect with.
Lastly, explain the benefit of talking with or working with you by showcasing your expertise in your industry.
My 3 key phrases are 'teacher of entrepreneurs', 'part time musician', 'business strategist'.
As you can see the first two phrases tell my audience a little bit into who I am.
At the same time I'm giving insight into who I work with, entrepreneurs.
The last phrase gives them a bit of meat to grab on to, so when someone actually does consume my content, meet with me or finds me randomly on the Internet they can know where I am coming from and my expertise!

What Value Can You And Your Personal Brand Consistently Deliver
Remember I talked about the importance of content...
When creating a personal brand identity especially personal branding for entrepreneurs it is incredibly important to showcase your achievements and successes.
No I'm not talking about screenshots of your income statements or bragging about every little thing you do. I talking about how incredibly important it is to make sure your audience feels like they are included on your brand journey.
Most people that know me know they can come and consume my content to get tutorials, processes and systems, my musings on being an entrepreneur and how I handle it in my life, and of course my sarcastic wit when I get on a rant or tell a story.
Here are some personal brand identity examples that I think are absolutely amazing:
Be As Authentic As Possible
A personal brand is a relationship, an experience that you give to those that deal with you, the people that represent you and your team (if you have one).
If you are not speaking up and living your brand you will find that your audience sees right through the act and will find your brand identity false.
This means carefully curating and creating your content with your chosen words, phrases, ideologies, vision and expertise. The biggest thing I online entrepreneurs failing at is taking the time to make sure their brand identity shines through with everything single thing they create.
Most audiences respond best to when the entrepreneur is contributing their knowledge and helping them build their business.
Because you as the entrepreneur are in the position of authority being able to talk about yourself , your unique personal brand, your expertise and always being sure you are putting your best foot forward in your content is the fastest and most authentic way to build a loyal and engaged following ready to buy from you!
