The next time you need an example which illustrates and defines teamwork turn to nature.
Next fall, when you see geese heading south for the winter… flying along in a V formation…. You may consider what science has discovered as to why they fly that way.
4. Geese honk from behind to encourage those up front to keep up the speed. What do we say when we honk from behind?
5. Finally…and this is important… when a goose gets sick, or is wounded by gunshots and falls out of formation, two other geese fall out with the goose and follow it down to lend help and protection. They stay with the fallen goose until lit is able to fly or until it dies; and only hen do they launch out on their own, or with another formation to catch up with their group. IF we have the send of a goose we will stand by each other like that.
I LOVE this analogy, giving us humans such beautiful examples. I found this example in my grandma’s things when she passed and I just felt I had to pass it along, feel free to pass it along as well.
